About The Climate Brief
The Climate Brief is a monthly investigative publication on the climate-capital stack. Original analysis of carbon markets, nature finance, climate-disclosure regimes, and the data infrastructure underneath them, for senior decision-makers in climate finance, policy, and capital allocation.
Editorial position
The Climate Brief reads climate finance through the bifurcation lens: real climate finance has split into integrity-priced and integrity-unpriced markets, separated by quiet architectural work underneath politically defanged regulations. Every piece we publish is a report from inside one side of that bifurcation or the other.
Read Opinion: Climate Finance Bifurcated in 2026 for the publication's editorial keystone.
Cadence
One issue per month, published the last Saturday. Each issue contains 21 internal pieces (6 Nature Capital + 6 Policy & Regulation + 6 Science & Technology + 3 Opinion) plus 3 partner Opinion contributions from senior figures in the field.
Standards
Every piece is published under our investigative editorial standard: sharp thesis, multi-source research spine, named protagonist or structural concept, story arc, specific evidentiary anchors. See Methodology for the full standards.
